Tallis Amos Group.
We built a new website and used SEO, PPC and CRO to help more farmers and grounds teams find the right machinery.
Tallis Amos Group is a family owned John Deere dealer with five branches across the West Midlands, Wales and the Cotswolds. It sells new and used machinery, parts and servicing. The job was to give it a website that works as hard as its teams do.
Overview
A big range. Now easier to find.
Tallis Amos Group is a John Deere dealer owned and run by the Tallis and Amos families. It has five branches across the West Midlands, Wales and the Cotswolds. It sells new and used machinery for farms, golf courses and grounds teams, along with parts and servicing. The group already had a website, but it was ready for a new one that could show off a big range and bring in more enquiries.
We built the new site first, then used SEO, PPC and CRO to bring in the right visitors and turn more of them into enquiries.
The challenge
Lots to offer. An old site holding it back.
Where they started
What the work had to do
The strategy
Build, get found, then convert.
We ran four workstreams as one plan, each built around how farmers and grounds teams look for machinery and support.
A new website built around the stock
The old website no longer matched the size of the business, and its big range of stock was hard to browse. We refreshed it so buyers can find the right machine faster and more visits turn into enquiries and service bookings. We made it simple to search new and used machinery by type, brand and price, and gave each branch its own page.
SEO for machinery searches
We gave each product range, branch and service a clear page with its own focus. We tidied up page titles and descriptions so search engines and readers know what each page is about.
PPC for people ready to buy
We ran paid search campaigns for machinery, parts and servicing. We kept the ads focused on the areas each branch covers and moved budget toward the searches that brought in real enquiries.
CRO to turn visits into enquiries
We looked at how people use the site and where they leave. We made calls to action clearer, cut steps from the forms and kept testing to improve key pages.
The result
Easier to browse. Easier to enquire.
We gave Tallis Amos Group a new website and a joined up plan to reach farmers and grounds teams, from their first search to their first enquiry.
What the client gained
“Tallis Amos Group has the stock, the people and the experience. Our job was to make sure the website shows that and helps more customers get in touch.”
