Bristol Appliance Centre.

We built a new website and ran social media for an independent kitchen appliance showroom in Bristol.

Bristol Appliance Centre is an independent kitchen appliance retailer with a showroom in Bishopsworth, Bristol. It sells, delivers and fits appliances for homeowners, landlords and developers. The job was to make the range easy to browse and a quote easy to ask for.

Overview

A great showroom. Now easier to find online.

Bristol Appliance Centre sells kitchen appliances from its showroom in Bishopsworth. Every appliance on display is fully working, so customers can see and try it before they buy. The team also designs kitchens and handles delivery and fitting themselves. The business wanted a website and a social presence that showed all of this clearly.

We built a new website and ran social media side by side, so people can see the range online and then visit or ask for a quote.

At a glance client Bristol Appliance Centre
We built a site that works like the Bishopsworth showroom, with a page for every appliance range
Each of the 40+ brands has its own page, with a quote form one click away
Redirects kept every old link working when the new site went live
Social posts show off working displays, new kitchens and recent installs

The challenge

Lots to offer. Hard to see it all online.

Where they started

A large range of brands and appliances that was hard to browse online
A working showroom and kitchen displays that more people needed to know about
Delivery, fitting and repairs that needed explaining more clearly
Social media that needed a regular plan

What the work had to do

Make it quick to browse appliances by category or by brand
Make getting a quote simple, for one appliance or a full kitchen
Get more people to visit the Bishopsworth showroom
Keep the business in front of local buyers on social media

The strategy

Two channels, one plan.

We ran two workstreams side by side, each built around how people shop for kitchen appliances.

A website built around how people shop

We built a new WordPress website with a page for each appliance category and each brand. We added a simple quote form, package prices for buying more than one appliance, and clear pages for the showroom, kitchens and delivery.

Social media that shows the showroom

We ran social media for the business, sharing the showroom, kitchen displays and recent installs. It gives local people a reason to follow along and pop in.

Content planning Showroom posts Local reach

The result

Easier to browse. Easier to buy.

We gave Bristol Appliance Centre a website and social presence that match the service in the showroom, from the first look to the final install.

What the client gained

A website that makes it easy to browse appliances by category or brand
A simple way to ask for a quote, for one appliance or a full kitchen
Regular social media that keeps the showroom in front of local buyers

“People like to see an appliance before they buy it. Our job was to make sure they find Bristol Appliance Centre first.”
